Sarge
2007 - 2025
I met Sarge one day on my way home from work when he was dumped on the side of a rural Kentucky road (in the US), he was malnourished (severely), had a broken leg and broken hip but through it all he was smiling like he was waiting on me. I got him the care he needed and he was such an amazing friend and side kick for nearly 13 years (he was around 4 when we found him). He loved sitting on a porch, any porch. Whether that was on vacation, home or the neighbor’s he just loved a good porch sitting. So I took that time to also take a moment to sit with him and just take in the scenery. I chose cremation because I want all my dogs to be with me forever. So when I move houses I want them to be with me and not buried in the backyard. I also want the urns to be with me when I pass so we will forever be together. Sarge was the most gentle soul of a dog. He loved being around and his smile would light up my world. He loved going on hikes, chasing wildlife, being a beagle. He was my soul dog and I miss him so much.
